A lot of experience in the field of renewable energies: This is what Energiekontor AG has stood for over 3´0 years. The company is one of the pioneers in the industry and is one of the elading german project developers today. The core business ranges from planning and construction to the management of wind farms in Germany and abroad an was axpanded to include solar energy in 2010. Energiekontor also operates wind and solar parks with a nominal output of almost 330 megawatts in its own portfolio. In one of their latest projects, this time i will not only be about green electricity from the most modern wind turbines, but also about the produciton and use of green hydrogen. Hydrogentle GmbH was commissioned to carry out a potential analysis. In addition to production-related questions, we will identify sales markets, calculate the ideal system dimensions for an electrolyser and carry out an extensive business case calculation. Finally, we create a technically and economically feasible project sketch. In this context, we not only build up knowledge, but also actively prepare the implementation and ramp-up of a hydrogen economy in the city of Geestland. One thing is already certain: The project will set standards and create real added value. A logical step that will drive the city of Geestland forward in its sustainable development.
